Working at Walton on the Hill Primary School
Walton on the Hill Primary School is a great place to work and many of our staff have been with us for many years. Staff tell us that it is a happy place to be and they really enjoy being part of our team!
Sometimes people move on to other roles, and we look for new recruits to come on board and work with us to maintain the excellent standard of education we provide. We are always happy to hear from people who would be interested in joining our team, even if we do not currently have a vacancy that would ideally suit them. With the individual's permission, we would hold their information and reach out should an appropriate role become available.
We welcome volunteers in to our school to support in all sorts of ways. Please click here to find out more about volunteering in our school.
Please contact Mr Richard Laing, Head of School, if you would like to meet and discuss how you might join our team in the future - head@walton-on-the-hill.surrey.sch.uk
School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT)
Training the teachers of the future is a really important part of our role as a successful school. We are part of the SCITT in collaboration with Surrey South Farnham Partnership, and have supported the training of many new teachers.
