We would like to say a big thank you to all the parents, grandparents, staff and other members of our school community who took part in the 'Rethink Waste' challenge and donated their points to us. We had fantastic support and came third overall and second out of all Surrey schools for points per pupil.  You can see all the results here.

Most points: WotH 3rd place = £500
Most points per pupil: WotH 2nd place = £750
So £1250 overall!

Friends of Mere Pond

Members of Eco Team worked with the Walton Village Forum's pond committee to help look after Mere Pond.  They took part in a pond flora and fauna survey in April and a litter pick at the pond in June.  The children really enjoyed the opportunity to be involved in helping their local community, as well as feeding the ducks.  Each child was awarded a certificate recognising them as a 'Friend of Mere Pond'

Busy Bee Border

A big thank you to Linda Lyne, for installing our beautiful Busy Bee Border at the front of the school! It is already buzzing with life 🌸🌼🌺💜💚
