Friends of Walton on the Hill Primary School (PTA)

The Friends of Walton on the Hill Primary School are very active in raising funds and providing some wonderful 'extras' which enhance the experiences of children at school.  Over the years, we have raised lots of money towards specific projects such as the Trim Trail, Breech Lane pavilion (an invaluable resource for sports and outdoor learning), and most recently a new classroom space.

See all our current information here including links to buy event tickets and for the Mr Benn costume and second-hand uniform shop.

The Friends of Walton on the Hill Primary School is a registered charity (No.1122518) and member of Parentkind.

We have two main aims:

  1. To develop effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.
  2. To engage in fundraising activities that provide facilities or equipment to support the school and advance the education of pupils.

The Friends is a committee of friendly and enthusiastic parents dedicated to organising events that raise an astonishing amount.  Smaller schools obtain less funding from the LEA, so we work hard to raise funds to provide our children with the resources and facilities they deserve.  Our volunteers work incredibly hard for our school and every single penny raised goes right back to benefiting our children.  You can find a summary of our fundraising at the bottom of the page.

ALL members of the school community and beyond are welcome to join us and help with events and fundraising...and hopefully have fun and meet new people whilst doing so!

Meetings are held regularly to discuss fundraising and other issues.  If you would like to get involved or find out more, please do not hesitate to speak to us - you can contact us by email (friendsofwoth@gmail.com) or speak to the school office.

Please also consider if your workplace offers match funding and might be able to support one of our events as we are always looking for more fundraising in this area.

The current trustees are:

Chair - Natasha Doran

Treasurer - Joanne Woods

Trustees are supported by the teacher representative, Mrs Sarah Davis, the SLT and 14 class representatives.
